  • Verify the distributions of Accountable Documents in accordance to Malaysia Airlines' Accountable Document Policy.
  • Undertake strategic and process improvement initiatives to support continuous improvement i.e. Implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
  • Participate & coordinate regular meetings or conference calls with Business Units, debtors other internal/external units in order to resolve any issues.
  • Review and analyse the monthly Accounts Receivables (AR) reports on a timely basis.
  • Monitor the creation and maintenance of master data for AR are properly approved in accordance to Group Credit Collection Policy.
  • Review and monitor the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for each unit under Credit Management.
  • Supervise and support staffs within the team including guidance for problem solving and coaching.
  • Address all external and internal audit issues and ensure audit gaps are closed within the specified time frame.

Qualifications & Working Experience

Degree in Accounting/ Finance or professional qualification (ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, MIA, etc.) with 4-5 years working experience in Accounting and/ or Finance or in the related field.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Understand his / her role in the team and how IT impacts the overall outcome of the process.
  • Provide day to day guidance and help to executive in the team.
  • Possess strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices and internal policy.
  • Well versed with ERP and other business / accounting tools.
  • Possess good knowledge of Word processing, spreadsheet and presentation tools (Word / Excel / Power Point).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to communicate with Business Units & customers.
  • Highly prefer knowledge of airline industry or knowledge of the job role.
