Supervisor - Engineering

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for carrying out preventive and predictive maintenance activities. • Ensure that all factory production and process equipment are in optimal operating condition. • Oversee machine component calibration arrangements. • Maintain the technician logbook and monitor recurring and pending machinery issues. • Be on standby during the working week and available for calls from the Engineer or Head of Department (HOD). • Lead shift technicians and oversee their daily tasks. • Prepare weekly and monthly shift schedules (Duty Roster) for technicians. • Conduct and lead daily shift handover sessions with technicians. • Manage the ordering of critical spare parts. • Record machine running hours and parameters. • Remain on standby during shifts and report directly to the Engineer if any equipment requires repairs or adjustments. • Work collaboratively with Production, Utility, and other departments when equipment repairs are needed. • Report any abnormalities in factory equipment to the Engineer for timely corrective action. • Ensure that all tools used for repairs and maintenance are properly returned to their designated storage after use. REQUIREMENTS • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. • Knowledge of HACCP and GMP standards. • Strong reading and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with the capability to resolve production and product quality issues. • A dynamic team leader with the ability to lead, train, motivate, and monitor engineering technicians to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
