Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and skilled Sous Chef to assist in overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring the consistent quality of food preparation. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and help lead the kitchen team during service. Key Responsibilities: Kitchen Operations Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing daily kitchen operations Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure quality and consistency Supervise kitchen staff and delegate tasks efficiently Food Prep & Quality Control Ensure food is prepared according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety (e.g. proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients) Requirements: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong background as a Cook/Line Chef Good knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling, and hygiene standards Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Flexible with shifts, weekends, and public holidays
