We have an exciting new role to join our team in Kota Bharu as a Automotive Service Advisor to help us to build up our business activities. We are looking for a friendly and motivated individual to join our team. 1. Customer Interaction & Consultation: -Greet and welcome customers to the service department. -Actively listen to customer concerns and identify their vehicle issues or service needs. -Provide accurate information about repair services, timelines, and costs. -Offer maintenance and repair recommendations based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle performance. 2. Service Scheduling & Coordination: -Schedule appointments for vehicle service and repairs, managing the service calendar effectively. -Ensure timely and efficient repair work by coordinating with technicians and service staff. -Provide updates to customers about the status of their vehicle throughout the service process. 3. Job Documentation & Estimations: -Create detailed service orders (S.O.R.) including required services, parts, and estimated costs. --Provide accurate service quotes and repair estimates. -Review the final invoice with customers, ensuring that all work performed is accurately documented and explained. 4. Customer Satisfaction & Follow-Up: -Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service, answering queries, and addressing concerns. -Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships. -Handle any customer complaints or issues professionally and in accordance with company policies. 5. Parts Management: -Liaise with the parts department to ensure required parts are available for scheduled services. -Ensure that replacement parts meet quality standards and are properly ordered. 6. Administrative Duties: -Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service orders, and job progress. -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of service offerings, promotions, and product updates. 7. Sales & Upselling: -Identify opportunities for additional services or repairs and provide recommendations to customers. -Promote value-added services, such as extended warranties, service packages, or vehicle accessories. 8. Health & Safety Compliance: -Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations while ensuring the workplace is clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff. Qualifications & Skills: Education: High School diploma or equivalent (automotive training or certification is a plus). Experience: 2+ years of experience in automotive service advising, customer service, or related field. Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of automotive systems and repair processes; familiarity with diagnostic tools. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and staff. Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage client expectations and build relationships. Sales Skills: Ability to upsell services and products in a consultative manner. Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with service management software, Microsoft Office, and general computer operations. Problem-Solving: Ability to handle difficult or dissatisfied customers in a professional and calm manner. Time Management: Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
