Tooling Engineer

Provides technical direction and support to meet the yield and output. Ensure smooth operation of the injection moulding machines to meet production schedule, quality and delivery. Troubleshoot the problems in production and make correction to ensure the product are approved by QC. To monitor data (operator name, scrap & defect, log off job order, enter job order, interrupt job order) at AIP terminal to ensure accurate data in HYDRA & AIP System. To follow up and monitor product quality based on customer requirement. Check the parts quality of all machine as per sample. To ensure machines are in good working condition.Set moulds to be tested and ensure timely scheduling of mould tests. Coordinate internal related matters for mold, production equipment maintenance and repair. Responsible for product, process, test engineering and other engineering technical supports for the assigned project/products Able to perform quality confirmation on each product type, based on limit sample. Troubleshoot problem and solve injection moulding and auxiliary. Troubleshoot machine or robotic if problem arise during mass production. To assist the department head in monitoring the Suppliers & SubCon activities. To assist the dept head to ensure precise production planning, stock control & optimum utilization production capacity. To co-ordinate with customer service on PO confirmation and forecast demand.Timley update the progress status. To prepare weekly schedule based on Build Plan/forecast/ delivery schedule to sub-contractor and production line. To follow up with sub-con on their production schedule, daily output & shipment statusTo control outgoing and incoming parts from sub-con (SR assignment). To record data to track on the rejection percentage and delivery status. To prepare monthly production schedule and project daily manpower required. Base on production schedule raise Job Order to production. To ensure that all WIP and purchased items are available before issue Job Order. To work out the materials consumption periodically & raise PR to seek for approval before purchase. To check and compare the purchase price VS MOQ before issue PR. Weekly perform cutoff inventory VS order to high volume customer product. To follow up and monitor production daily output. If encounter problem escalate to superior. To ensure all the incoming PQIS is posting and pass to Account dept with DO. To ensure meeting schedule & fulfill 100% of customer order.Ensure the good quality and output of the parts.Ensure quality of the work produced. To maintain good housekeeping at all times. To work according to Operation StandardWork Instruction and Packing Condition. Feedback immediately problematic issues to Leader or Supervisor.
