Key Responsibilities Areas
HCP IOL education:
- Manage the curriculum of HCP IOL education in alignment with annual business priorities, ensuring education content and resourcing available to support participating faculty including local and symposia education.
- Oversees education grants [within Professional Education budget], in line with J&J Vision’s education goals and in line with compliance requirements
- Establish and manage KPIs to ensure IOL education goals are achieved efficiently and effectively, implementing continuous improvement action plans as required
- Support and develop faculty to meet current and future needs
- Appropriate HCC compliance relating all aspects of Professional Education
Registrar education:
- Oversee registrar education program including the science of lens technology and Toric / PCIOL / Phaco confidence development programs in / with teaching facilities
- Oversees education grants [within Professional Education budget], in line with J&J Vision’s education goals and in line with compliance requirements
- Establish and manage KPIs to ensure Registrar education goals are achieved efficiently and effectively, implementing continuous improvement action plans as required
- Manage consumable and capital equipment as appropriate to support training need
- Support and develop faculty to meet current and future needs
- Appropriate HCC compliance relating all aspects of Professional Education
Sales team education strategy and certification oversight (in partnership with APAC region training team):
- Design and develop the annual sales team education program including face-to-face and virtual channels as required to achieve knowledge goals and confidence, measured and enforced through minimum certification standards.
- Ensure the education curriculum for each initiative is aligned with local sales and marketing needs and leverages best practice and resourcing from the APC regional team as relevant.
- Define certification protocols and ensure appropriate usage, frequently communicating progress to the leadership team to ensure expectations are met.
- Oversee SEA content and use of digital channels including EyeLearn (Axonify) and EyeConnect University, highlighting any deviations from expectations for timely corrective action from the Leadership Team
- Appropriate HCC compliance relating all aspects of Professional Education and Grants
Other
- Medical Affairs Liaison: SEA focal point for Medical Affairs collaboration as required e.g. with regional Medical Affairs and with relevant surgical investigators, under the guidance of regional Medical Affairs
- Budget & Resource Management: Actively manage the budget and resources associated with the role
Number of strategically aligned IOL education events / # of participants Education event participant feedback: education goals achieved and participants satisfied Sales team education program aligned with LT Sales team participation and certification goals established and achieved ANA [Annual Needs Assessment] confirmed in Q4 each year for the following year Education goals achieved within budget and in line with compliance expectations
