Key Responsibilities:

1. Storage Control

  • Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods into and out of storage facilities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure data is updated in the system (e.g., warehouse management system, Asolute).
  • Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure proper placement, labelling, and tracking of items in storage.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for internal and client use.
  • Alert relevant departments or clients regarding low or overstocked inventory.
  • Ensure all storage activities comply with safety, cleanliness, and SOP standards.

2. Transloading Operations

  • Plan and coordinate the unloading of inbound shipments and the reloading onto outbound transport.
  • Ensure accuracy in transloading documentation such as delivery orders, packing lists, and shipment labels.
  • Communicate with transporters, freight forwarders, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth scheduling and execution.
  • Monitor turnaround time of containers/trucks and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
  • Support customs clearance documentation where necessary.

3. Customer Support

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding storage and transloading inquiries.
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly via phone, email, or system updates.
  • Provide timely updates to clients on the status of their goods or shipments.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints or discrepancies related to goods handling, damage, or delays.
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and support.

4. Documentation & System Entry

  • Prepare and verify documents such as Goods Received Notes (GRN), Delivery Orders (DO), and Job Sheets.
  • Ensure all data entries into systems are accurate and timely.
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and records.

5. General Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal departments including logistics, warehouse, billing, and accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and customer service standards.
  • Assist in process improvements and efficiency enhancement initiatives.

Requirement:

1. Education & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in customer service, warehousing, or logistics operations are an added advantage.

2. Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in customer service, warehouse coordination, or logistics operations.
  • Experience handling storage control, inventory tracking, or transloading operations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with dealing directly with clients, transporters, or freight forwarders in a fast-paced environment.

3. Technical Skills

  • Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory systems, or ERP tools (e.g., Asolute).
  • Good knowledge of documentation processes such as GRN, DO, packing lists, and job sheets.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting and communication.
  • Basic understanding of logistics workflows, including customs documentation and container/truck scheduling.

4. Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
  • Customer-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Able to build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive and proactive communication.
  • Good interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

5. Organizational & Analytical Skills

  • Highly organized with great attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset to handle client complaints or shipment discrepancies effectively.

6. Other Requirements

  • Willingness to work in a warehouse/logistics environment and occasionally support ground operations.
  • Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety, and compliance practices.
  • A team player who is adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn and support process improvements.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
