Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and target-driven Sales Manager to lead sales efforts in the manufacturing sector. You will manage customer relationships, generating new business, and collaborating closely with production and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, industry segments, and customers
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing B2B customers
  • Act as the key point of contact for client negotiations, inquiries, and support
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and handle post-sales service coordination

Business Development:

  • Conduct market research to identify new leads and industry trends
  • Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote the company’s offerings
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and technical/commercial offers

Cross-functional Coordination:

  • Coordinate with production, planning, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery
  • Provide customer feedback to quality and R&D teams for product improvements
  • Forecast demand and provide sales input for production planning

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance dashboards
  • Analyze sales data to track trends and adjust strategies as needed
  • Monitor competitor activities and suggest counter-strategies

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5–8 years of sales experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting
  • Strong B2B sales and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns
  • Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy
  • Ability to guide and mentor sales representatives
  • Planning, organization and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
