Objectives of the Position
- Works closely with local leaders and people managers, to identify the critical business/organizational needs, challenges and people trends; develops and implements appropriate HR programs/solutions in close co-operation with relevant HR colleagues within BASF Group to support the business objectives and overall organization strategies
- Effectively manage special projects assigned in HR area in line with the project deliverables and manage all stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are communicated effectively.
- Provides support on workforce planning and succession planning; talent acquisition and on-boarding, talent development, employee engagement and retention
- Facilitates performance dialogues and improvement process; provides support on compensation matters including salary planning and merit review, job evaluation, promotions, etc.
- Provides insightful data and analysis to guide decision-making and problem solving on people issues
- Works with people leaders to address all types of industrial relations topics, in compliance with local laws & regulations as well as HR policies and guidelines
Main Tasks
- Work with people leaders and managers in KL Hub to consult, share insights and execute critical HR topics, with a focus on creating a high-performing and productive workforce, and enhancing a change mindset as aligned with the Business and Corporate Strategy
- Build and maintain a relationship as trusted HR partner with key stakeholders within KL Hub office.
- Coach manager and employees on people matters including performance, terminations, disciplinary issues, career development, covering office and production site employees
- Manage and execute BASF HR framework incl. annual salary review, performance management, talent forum, succession planning, talent program nomination etc.
- Discuss with people leaders to identify training & development and succession needs. Partner with the Center of Expertise (CoE) on Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Compensation & Benefits as subject matter experts to design and execute your strategy for how the business staffs, on-boards, develops, motivates, retains and organizes work
Continuous Improvement
- Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve HR excellence and customer satisfaction
- Process operational tasks along the HR Processes and identify areas for process improvement, automation, to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the HR team as a whole
Professional Guidance / Multiple Reporting Lines
- Works closely with internal HR colleagues within APAC and Global
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or a related discipline
- Minimum 5-8 years of professional HR experience in a multinational company environment, specifically in HR generalist and/or business partnering areas
- Solid experience and knowledge in local HR practices and statutory requirement
- Solid HR advisory experience across multiple groups (Office & Plant locations)
- Proven record of driving and implementing people initiatives
