Service Advisor (SA) – Key Responsibilities
The Service Advisor acts as a vital link between customers and the service department, ensuring exceptional service delivery through effective communication, coordination, and follow-up.

Customer Interaction

  • Welcome customers warmly and check in vehicles for scheduled service appointments.
  • Listen actively to customer concerns, perform initial visual inspections, and document any pre-existing vehicle damage.
  • Communicate service recommendations clearly, based on customer feedback, technician diagnostics, and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Provide accurate repair estimates and obtain customer approval prior to work being performed.
  • Keep customers informed of repair timelines, changes, and any unexpected delays.
  • Address customer questions and concerns professionally throughout the service process.
  • Build trust and foster long-term relationships through courteous, transparent, and empathetic service.

Service Coordination

  • Schedule and prioritize repairs in collaboration with technicians to maximize efficiency.
  • Confirm parts availability and coordinate timely orders with suppliers when necessary.
  • Provide real-time updates to customers regarding repair progress and any changes in scope.
  • Facilitate approval processes for additional repairs or parts not included in the initial estimate.
  • Conduct post-repair inspections to ensure quality standards are met before vehicle delivery.
  • Resolve any service-related issues quickly and efficiently, keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront.

Administrative Tasks

  • Accurately prepare service orders, detailing customer concerns and recommended work.
  • Secure customer signatures on service documentation and authorization forms.
  • Process service payments, parts returns, and exchanges efficiently.
  • Maintain up-to-date service records and customer history in the system.
  • Generate invoices and all relevant service-related documentation.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and customer-friendly service area at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
