  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist with hands-on machine learning experience to help build the core of our weakness detection engine for SPM students. You’ll work under the guidance of a senior data lead to design and prototype data-driven insights that personalize the student learning journey.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze student quiz data to detect patterns of academic weaknesses
  • Develop ML models to improve subtopic scoring and personalized recommendations
  • Support early AI integrations (e.g. LLM-powered explanations, question classification)
  • Work with Firestore data, and clean/transform it for analysis
  • Contribute to dashboards or internal analytics tools for the team

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
  • Experience with Python, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • Hands-on ML project experience (can be from internships, Kaggle, etc.)
  • Familiarity with NLP or LLMs (bonus)
  • Comfortable working in a startup-style, fast-moving environment
  • Good communication skills and a curious, growth mindset
