About the Company

Our client is a well-established and fast-growing company in the Metal/Building Materials sector, with a strong presence in both local and international markets. They are currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join their team at the Midvalley office to support the company’s purchasing operations and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, goods, and services according to company requirements.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers to ensure reliable supply and cost efficiency.

  • Prepare purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.

  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and service.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and specifications.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse or logistics teams as needed.

  • Keep up-to-date with market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings or better alternatives.

  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, SOPs, and internal controls.

  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reports for audit and tracking purposes.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing functions.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

  • Able to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and well-organized.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP or procurement systems is an added advantage.
