About the Company
Our client is a well-established and fast-growing company in the Metal/Building Materials sector, with a strong presence in both local and international markets. They are currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join their team at the Midvalley office to support the company’s purchasing operations and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, goods, and services according to company requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers to ensure reliable supply and cost efficiency.
Prepare purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and service.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and specifications.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse or logistics teams as needed.
Keep up-to-date with market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings or better alternatives.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
Maintain accurate procurement records and reports for audit and tracking purposes.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing functions.
Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Able to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and well-organized.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP or procurement systems is an added advantage.
