Job Responsibilities & Scope As the Executive Director, you will report directly to the Board of Directors and act as the top executive responsible for driving the success and long-term sustainability of the Malaysia operations. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership across all departments including retail operations, logistics, marketing, finance, HR, and supply chain. Oversee the execution of the company’s vision, mission, and brand values in the Malaysian market. Establish and implement operational policies to optimize business performance and profitability. Lead annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting in collaboration with department heads. Ensure legal, regulatory, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) compliance across all operational aspects. Spearhead expansion strategies including retail footprint development, ecommerce growth, and new market penetration. Drive talent management and organizational development to cultivate a high-performance culture. Act as the primary liaison with global headquarters, external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and partners. Preferred Candidate Profile Educational Background: A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Strategic Management, International Business, or related fields from a recognized university. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required if no Master’s is held. Professional Experience: At least 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a C-level or Director role overseeing end-to-end business operations. Proven experience in the retail, consumer goods, or fashion industry, ideally with DTC (Direct-To-Consumer) business models. Demonstrated success in scaling operations, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing digital transformation or sustainability initiatives. Experience in working with multinational or regional teams and navigating complex supply chain environments. Key Attributes: Strategic thinker with excellent business acumen and a growth mindset.
