  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Diploma with IT experience for more than 7 years .
  • Added advantage with the following qualification(s):
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
  • Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language, preferably Python or Java, with demonstrable experience in automating processes in a Kubernetes environment.
  • Advanced certifications in cloud platforms like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Azure cloud architect, focusing on containerized environments.
  • Be able to describe the overlap between Kubernetes upstream and downstream distributions (OpenShift, Rancher or VMWare Tanzu)
  • Kubernetes and Docker Operations: Assist in managing Kubernetes and Docker environments, implementing configurations, and conducting routine maintenance to support application requirements.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Maintenance: Participate in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI, ensuring effective deployment and operational continuity.
  • Routine System Upgrades and Patching: Perform regular system upgrades and apply security patches to Kubernetes, maintaining system integrity and compliance with security policies.
  • System Monitoring and Reporting: Implement and manage monitoring tools to track the health and performance of containerized applications, reporting issues and areas for improvement.

  • Learning and Development: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in containerization and DevOps; participate in workshops and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Documentation and Standardization: Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for system architectures, configurations, and best practices to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Kubernetes and Docker Experience: At least 4 years of experience in managing and configuring Kubernetes and Docker in a production environment, including routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Development: Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD workflows and tools to support development and production environments, ensuring smooth and reliable deployment processes.
  • Programming and Scripting: Practical knowledge of using programming languages such as Python or Java and scripting with Bash for automation tasks related to deployment, monitoring, and system management.
  • Collaborative Development Projects: Active participation in collaborative projects, working alongside senior engineers and other IT professionals to enhance system capabilities and address operational challenges.
  • Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Experience with implementing monitoring solutions to track system performance and reliability, and executing performance tuning strategies to meet the demands of the business.
