  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Technical Architect / Director of Technology to lead our APAC technology strategy, focusing on Malaysia and Hong Kong. This role requires deep expertise in modern web architectures, cloud platforms, digital innovation, and strong people management experience. You will play a crucial role in leading technology teams, supporting in sales pitches, and driving the adoption of innovative solutions that enhance business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Development

  • Oversee the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
  • Drive cloud-native and modern architecture strategies using platforms like commercetools or similar, Headless CMS like Builder.io, or Contentful and Drupal.
  • Ensure best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud technologies (GCP/ AWS ).

Technology Strategy & Leadership:

  • Define and implement technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the adoption of modern content management, microservices and AI-driven innovations.
  • Drive the development of a Google Cloud Platform capability in the region with an emphasis on Data Engineering and AI.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to drive competitive advantage.

People & Stakeholder Management:

  • Lead and mentor technology teams across Malaysia and Hong Kong, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Build and scale teams, ensuring effective talent management and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, and delivery) to align technology solutions with business goals.

Sales & Business Engagement:

  • Actively participate in sales pitches, providing technology expertise to secure new business.
  • Develop technical proposals and innovative solutions to address client needs.
  • Partner with business teams to drive client engagement, pre-sales strategies, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in technology leadership, with a strong background in software solutions digital transformation.
  • Working experience in software consulting agency (current or previous experience) is a must.
  • Strong background in MACH architecture, microservices and cloud technologies.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms - Google Cloud or AWS etc.
  • Must be able to speak in Cantonese / Mandarin language.
  • Proven people management experience.
  • Involve in sales pitches, technical pre-sales, and client-facing engagements.
  • Solid understanding of AI-driven solutions and innovative digital strategies.
  • Ability to work closely with business teams to develop technology roadmaps and drive execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
