Cargo Assistant (Penang)

RESPONSIBILITIES: • To provide excellent and efficient service to our customer in and at other customer service touch points in accordance with RASB standard and procedures, and other applicable regulations • To perform warehouse handling, trucking, ramp handling and documentation process in accordance to carrier and company standards and procedures. • Handling all cargo following set SLA, policies and procedures; verify identification, following all security and safety procedure. • Deliver excellent customer service • Verify all correct policies with regards to cargo documentation, security, dangerous goods, and regulatory compliance. • Report any safety and security incidents and/or accidents. • Work in conjunction with other departments to ensure on time performance of flights • Supervise and direct others with knowledge of operational functions • Encourage team cooperation through briefings and leading by example • Ensure training currency for all mandatory and regulatory training requirement • To comply with all regulations and requirements with regards to health, safety and security set by the company and relevant authorities while on duty. • Operate motorized and non-motorised equipment in accordance with RASB policy and procedures. • Perform a 360 degree walk around check of vehicle and ensure that the equipment you will operate is serviceable and in good conditions. • Perform all round check to confirm the serviceability of ground equipment’s allocated for operation and FOD inspections. • Comply to operational procedures and to ensure safety of staff, equipment and aircraft. • Ensure drivers’ license and/or driving permit remains valid • Execute other ad-hoc duties as detailed by the business as and when required. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: • Malaysian citizen, between the age of 19 and 35 years. • Physically and mentally fit to perform duties as Ground Handler. • At least a minimum of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent. • Have a valid class D driving license. • Work independently and in a team environment. • Able to work in rotating shifts (including night shift). • Willing to work at other Raya Airways stations as and when necessary.
