JOB SUMMARY

  • This position will lead and oversee three key areas within the unit: Branding and Creative, Marketing Communications, and Digital Marketing.
  • This role is accountable for delivering on the unit’s strategic targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with a strong focus on driving student recruitment outcomes.
  • Working in close collaboration with the Student Recruitment team, the Manager will support acquisition goals across the University's range of qualifications, both domestically and internationally.
  • The position plays a critical leadership role in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, build audience engagement, and generate leads across various markets.
  • Key areas of responsibility include Branding, Marketing, Media Relations, Publications and Content Creation, Events, and Communications, with a focus on ensuring consistency and effectiveness across domestic and international campaigns.
  • The Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans, managing a significant budget, and measuring the success of campaigns through performance analytics.
  • The role will also lead and manage relationships with the University's media, creative, content, and digital agencies to deliver cohesive, high-impact campaigns that support student recruitment and strengthen brand health.
  • Additionally, the position will work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams, as well as liaise with colleagues at the University’s international campuses, to ensure alignment in branding, marketing efforts, and the efficient use of global resources.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, media and/or other related discipline from a recognised institution
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience, and minimum of two (2) years of experience in a leadership role or management experience.
  • Higher level qualification can be considered.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing principles, with hands-on experience in developing and executing strategies across search, social media, CRM platforms, and content marketing on paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Working experience in marketing, consumer brand and managing a media and creative agency with a demonstrated understanding of the challenges and strategies of managing the agencies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the formulation of integrated annual marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to manage and mentor staff with a diverse set of skills and personalities.
  • Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to clearly present ideas.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
