  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.
  6. Select Sites can use Javascript.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Junior Backend Developer to join our growing tech team. You’ll be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend services and APIs that power our applications. You will work closely with senior developers and cloud engineers on projects that involve cloud technologies, media streaming, and scalable web applications.

Responsibilities

  • Working with other developers to plan and develop new features for existing products or creating entirely new products using existing technology
  • Creating new computer applications by writing or modifying source code as directed by a supervisor or senior developer.
  • Creating new features and functionality of the software/ application and maintaining its performance over time.
  • Analyzing data to identify possible improvements in efficiency or performance
  • Reviewing software code written by other developers to identify bugs and errors
  • Designing and developing new applications by translating user requirements into code that can be read by a computer
  • Participating in code review processes to identify security risks or issues with code quality before new code is released to the public
  • Testing new software applications to ensure that they meet design specifications
  • Maintaining existing software applications by fixing bugs, updating design elements, or adding new features
  • Identifying potential security risks and suggesting solutions to improve security

Key Skills:

Knowledge and hands-on experience in those technologies: -

  • Front-End: Webix, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Back-End: Node.js, .NET (Lambda), RESTful APIs
  • Cloud (AWS): CloudFront, API Gateway, S3, WAF, EC2, RDS, Lambda (AWS), CloudFormation, Route 53, IAM
  • Database: Microsoft SQL
  • DevOps & Tools: Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices
  • Security: Web Security (OWASP)
  • Methodology & Domain: Agile, Media Streaming (preferred understanding of media streaming workflow)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in .NET, .NET Core, C#, APIs, SQL.
  • Hands-on experience or familiarity with AWS Cloud services.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and other productivity tools.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure, multitasking, prioritizing and managing time effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM8,000.00 per month
