Gamalux Oils contributes to Mother Nature by recycling agricultural waste from palm-based materials to produce valuable feedstocks for renewable energy markets. Our organisation can process and pre-treat multiple agricultural-based cargos to produce valuable feedstocks for various industries, such as Biodiesel (BD), Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (HVO), and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) industries.
We are currently seeking an Account Manager to be based at our headquarters in Shah Alam.
Job Responsibilities
Month-End Close Activities:
- Participate in the month-end closing process, including preparing journal entries, posting, balancing, and reconciling subsidiary ledgers related to inventory and cost of goods sold.
- Schedule and coordinate with outside departments and within the department to meet the month-end close timeline.
- Process Improvement and Cost Reduction
- Identify and implement opportunities to reduce costs and improve overall profitability within the manufacturing process.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to cost efficiency.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the accounting system.
Costing:
- Develop, implement, and maintain an effective cost accounting system that accurately reflects the cost of goods manufactured and sold.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all costing data within the ERP system
- Analyse manufacturing costs, including raw materials, direct labour, and overhead, identifying variances and trends.
- Provide accurate and timely financial information, including actual product costs and standard costs for products.
- Analyse manufacturing processes in coordination with Plant Managers to improve decision-making.
Other Duties:
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Professional accounting certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial data to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with parallel deadlines.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
