- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle guest feedback or complaints professionally.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards across all areas.
- Assist in staff training, rostering, and performance monitoring.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and POS system reconciliation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales summary breakdowns and operational reports.
- Maintain proper inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for restocking.
- Ensure all restaurant equipment is well-maintained and report any issues promptly.
- Support management in executing marketing promotions, seasonal menus, or special events.
- Maintain a presentable, well-organized dining area that reflects the restaurant’s standard.
Administrative & Reporting Duties:
- Compile and submit sales reports, staff attendance logs, and petty cash records.
- Analyze daily sales data and highlight trends or issues for management review.
- Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation, report formatting, and basic data analysis.
- Minimum education is Secondary School.
- Able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within the F&B or hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiar with POS systems.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and handle multitasking.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
