Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

- Manage incoming support tickets through JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction. - Deliver exceptional customer service and comprehensive IT support for clients, in-office and remote employees. - Troubleshoot and resolve hardware (desktops, laptops, network devices), software, and connectivity issues using in-person and remote assistance tools. - Oversee IT equipment inventory, ensuring accurate asset logging, procurement, and decommissioning of hardware. - Deploy and manage containerised applications using Kubernetes and Docker to support scalable and efficient IT infrastructure. - Conduct regular audits and maintain an up-to-date inventory system. - Monitor, manage, and maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems. - Perform routine IT operations, including patch management, data backups, and disaster recovery procedures. - Manage and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure connectivity and network security. - Implement network upgrades and monitor performance across all company locations. - Set up and maintain telecommunications systems (VoIP, video conferencing) and audio-visual equipment for meetings. - Maintain accurate documentation for IT systems, configurations, and processes. - Provide regular reports on IT infrastructure performance and track incidents for analysis and future improvements. - Create and maintain detailed troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles. - Identify process improvement opportunities and suggest enhancements to optimize support operations. - Ensure adherence to security protocols and participate in security awareness training to protect company information. - Linux is a must
