  • Perform regular maintenance checks and carry out minor repairs on equipment and facilities.
  • Respond promptly to guest complaints or maintenance requests.
  • Assist in the installation, inspection, and testing of new equipment and systems.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and used safely.
  • Support other departments with maintenance-related needs (e.g., lighting, plumbing, air conditioning).
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance work and report any major issues to the supervisor or management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel standards.
  • Minimum SPM or equivalent; Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or related technical field is preferred.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance or as a technician in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Experience with electrical systems, plumbing, air-conditioning, or general facility maintenance.
  • Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
  • Basic understanding of hotel systems (e.g., elevators, fire safety systems, generators, plumbing, lighting, HVAC).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair minor technical and mechanical issues.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and respond quickly to emergency maintenance issues.
  • Familiar with safety protocols and basic health & safety standards.
