- Perform regular maintenance checks and carry out minor repairs on equipment and facilities.
- Respond promptly to guest complaints or maintenance requests.
- Assist in the installation, inspection, and testing of new equipment and systems.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and used safely.
- Support other departments with maintenance-related needs (e.g., lighting, plumbing, air conditioning).
- Keep detailed records of maintenance work and report any major issues to the supervisor or management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel standards.
- Minimum SPM or equivalent; Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or related technical field is preferred.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance or as a technician in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Experience with electrical systems, plumbing, air-conditioning, or general facility maintenance.
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
- Basic understanding of hotel systems (e.g., elevators, fire safety systems, generators, plumbing, lighting, HVAC).
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair minor technical and mechanical issues.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to emergency maintenance issues.
- Familiar with safety protocols and basic health & safety standards.
