Senior Account Executive

Job description Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to manage financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting functions, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting financial planning activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: -Oversee daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. -Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. -Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including SST, corporate tax, and withholding tax, and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants. -Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making. -Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability. Implement and monitor financial controls to ensure accuracy and prevent fraud. -Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and ensure all required documentation is prepared and provided. -Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights for business performance improvement. -Work closely with internal departments, external vendors, and financial institutions to optimize financial processes. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. -Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 1 years in a senior role. -Proficiency in accounting software (such as SQL Accounting, SAP, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel. -Strong understanding of financial regulations, taxation laws, and accounting standards (e.g., MFRS, IFRS). -Experienced working in Accounting Firm is an advantaged -Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze financial data effectively. High level of accuracy in financial reporting and compliance. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. -Ability to mentor and guide junior accounting staff. -Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are an added advantage -Computer literate with proficiency in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English. ----Knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage as you need to communicate with some client. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent\ Working: Monday to Friday (9am-6pm) Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
