About the Role

This position is about to lead the development team to support the related application E2E delivery following SDLC, including requirement analysis, estimation, proposal, system design, programming, unit testing, system & integration testing & UAT support and PROD deployment support and BAU support

Roles and Responsibilities:

Basic:

  • Support incident troubleshooting
  • Communicate with customers to understand business requirement
  • Provide system implementation solution in technical perspective
  • Prepare project estimation, timeline plans and monitor (effort, cost, schedule…etc)
  • Design, coding and testing
  • Provide SIT/UAT/PROD support
  • Provide required documentations per SDLC
  • Provide the deliveries to customer following SDLC and maintain good relationship with customer by good service delivery
  • Ensure customer perception and visibility through proactive communication
  • Provide daily report

Advanced:

  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through high quality services delivery
  • Discover potential opportunities by understanding customer business and technology
  • Report to customer leader about project matters (weekly/montly)
  • Report to team leader about project matters and team (weekly/montly)
  • Responsible to help on team member’s capability improvement
  • Balance effort between team members
  • Complete other related assignments and projects

Communication Requirements:

Internal (50%)

  • Daily tracking individual and team progress & assigned tasks

  • Discussion with external counter parties on the solution/issues found during the completion of assigned tasks.
  • Discover potential opportunities by understanding customer business and technology
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through high quality services delivery
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly progress report to external customer

  • To have a better solution, this job holder needs to communicate internally and externally to understand and clarify the requirements, propose a better solution, maintain high customer satisfaction and discover potential opportunities

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • At least 7+ years experience in an IT development environment and know Java well
  • Proficient in API integration, such as RESTful, SOAP, and have on-hand integration experience with microservice API development on cloud(Azure,AWS,etc)
  • Deep understanding of middleware technologies and principles of SOA and microservices architecture. Capable of designing and implementing these architectures based on business requirements
  • Require leading the team to have more than two years of experience as a technical leader or project management role directly facing customers, with successful track record of leading teams in end-to-end project delivery.
  • Familiar with DevOps, SDLC, Agile related concepts, proficient with Microsoft Office tools, and keen to assist the team in refining processes and documentation.
  • Good understanding of both waterfall and agile project management
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Malay, capable of independently engaging in in-depth technical solution discussion with customers
  • Strong self-motivation with a proactive attitude towards continuous learning and improvement to adapt to technological advancements and business challenges.
  • Experience with cloud(Azure,AWS,etc) architecture solution, hands-on project and integration case with Cloud Computing, Cloud Migration, virtualization layer, and other backend Infrastructure Services is preferred
  • Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit.
  • Experience in Insurance is plus
