Purpose of the role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team at a pivotal moment—as we implement a new ERP system to strengthen and scale our financial operations. This internship is not just about learning the basics; it’s about becoming part of a foundational transition that will shape how our finance function operates going forward.

As a Finance Intern with a focus on Transactional Finance, you’ll gain critical exposure to real-world processes in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reconciliations, while also playing a hands-on role in ERP adoption and process digitization.

General Duties and Responsibilities

· Transactional Execution: Support the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and cash applications

· Accounts Payable & Receivable: Assist in managing AP/AR workflows, tracking due dates ensuring follow-ups are completed, and to make sure our revenue and costs are flowing through in a timely fashion

· Reconciliations: Perform banking reconciliation, vendor statements, and intercompany accounts to maintain clean books

· ERP System: Participate in ERP onboarding, training, and data migration efforts; learn how to navigate and execute core finance transactions within the new system

· Documentation & Controls: Maintain proper financial documentation and support compliance with internal policies and controls

· Month-End Closing: Contribute to month-end close processes by preparing schedules and performing checks under supervision

· Reporting Support: Assist in generating financial reports and data summaries to support decision-making and audit readiness

· Cross-Team Coordination: Liaise with Operational, Support functions and vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial transaction flow

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting and management accounting principles and processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with financial software/tools is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
