Job Description

As a MES Engineer, you will lead the planning, designing, development and deployment of new SAP Manufacturing Execution Solutions (MES), overall manufacturing execution control, analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Architecting, implementing and integrating solutions focused on tracking, analyzing and improving manufacturing process and user experience.
  • Lead the refining and enhancing of existing process, application, establish effective user requirements and reporting mechanism.
  • Responsible for SAP Manufacturing Execution master data definition and implementation with strong connection to global IT and Business Solutions team.
  • Provide functional & technical expertise to support system configuration, programming, debugging and testing.
  • Support the identifying of new automation, integration and digitalization opportunities within manufacturing to meet business objectives.
  • Support integration and qualification of automation solutions and system connectivity to MES.
  • Creating documentation, including project engineering notes, project proposal, project design traceability documentation, case studies and more.
  • Create test plans, develop manual, conduct test reviews and generate test reports for proper documentation.
  • Provide training to users of different levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering/Information Systems with specialization in Operation, with at least 5 years of experience in SAP ERP, MES, MII etc.
  • Knowledge in manufacturing and operation processes, BOM, routing etc.
  • Experience in programming, database, software development (C#, MSSQL, .NET, API, VB.NET etc.)
  • Demonstrate track records in system integration to MES, MES use case development and solutions implementation.
  • Have good understanding of IT/OT industry specific applications particularly around information solutions and Analytics.
  • Experience in Industry 4.0 solutions and technology will be added advantage.
  • Self-starter and proven track record in implementing complex projects, demonstrated levels of leadership, creativity and achieving the goals within tight schedule.
  • Strong problem-solving, logics and creative thinking.
  • Strong team player, with excellent collaboration, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and multitask within an interrupt driven environment.
  • Ability to keep up with latest techniques and technologies as they develop.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
