Electrical Engineer

Implement, maintain and improve electrical instruments, equipment for construction purposes The work includes varied electrician assignments involving installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment and systems. Diagnoses and repairs malfunctions in electrical equipment or control systems such as pumps, motors, controllers, generators, air compressors or other electrical devices. Performs preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and calibration of electrical and electronic systems and equipment. Plan and develop work schedules Prepare material and labour estimation to meet the budgeted guidelines. Inspects electrical instruments, equipment and facilities for quality of electrical work and conformance with electrical codes, project plans and safety procedures. Perform equipment/parts repair, installation, services and repairs electrical and control equipment under routine and emergency situations. Completes related paperwork, including maintenance schedules and logs, and updating wiring diagrams and schematics. Tests and maintains emergency generators. Reviews plans and specifications for electrical installations. Perform routine, corrective, project and preventive maintenance as assigned/directed by the Project Manager Duty may include activities related to preparation or clean-up during emergency situations Provide requests to Procurement for requisitioning new parts and equipment Perform related duties/work as required and/or assigned by Project / Site Manager.
