Job Description: - Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to assist clients in achieving mental, emotional, or career-related goals. - Assess clients' mental condition based on observations, interviews, and tests. - Develop and implement counseling plans and therapeutic processes tailored to the needs of the clients. - Provide psychoeducation to clients to help them understand and overcome personal, social, or behavioral problems affecting their educational or vocational situations. - Maintain confidential records of all counseling sessions. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to treat or refer clients with severe mental health conditions. - Follow up with clients to monitor their progress and make necessary adjustments to the treatment plans. - Conduct crisis interventions when necessary. - Promote mental health awareness in schools, universities, workplaces, and community settings. - Continuously update professional knowledge and counseling techniques. Job Requirements: - A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. - Minimum 2 or more years of relevant work experience - Registered with the Board of Counselors, Malaysia, under the Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia (K.B, P.A). - Possession of a valid practicing certificate issued by the Board of Counselors, Malaysia is mandatory. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion. - Empathy and sensitivity to deal with clients from diverse backgrounds. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Capability to work independently or as part of a team. - Proficiency in handling and managing emotional stress. - Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and/or English; additional proficiency in other languages is a plus.
