Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Familiarizing with all products/materials offered by our company. It may vary based on current local market demand. Passion in doing product research will be helpful.
  • Identify and pursue potential clients through direct contact, cold call and email generated by variety of outside sources.
  • Develop and maintaining meaningful relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure that they are retained by checking their current needs, preferences and pain points.
  • Suggesting or offering products/materials in regular basis that may be of interest to clients.
  • Assist clients in matching the product according to their needs and by fulfilling their requirement.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure deals while maintaining profitability for the company
  • Convert leads into sales by resolving client concerns and guiding them through the purchasing process.
  • Maintaining and updating sales and business development documentation.

Remaining in tune with local industry trends and customer feedback to ensure that our offerings remain relevant.

  • Handling and managing customers’ account from receiving order, arranging delivery order, invoicing and receiving payment.
  • Support the team with other responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and computer related skills.

Diploma/ Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, will be added advantage

  • Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.
  • Excellent multitasking skills.
  • Self-motivated, positive, tenacious, confident, and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to move around if needed.
  • Proficient in negotiating pricing and terms with clients to secure deals while
  • maintaining profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Handles rejection well while maintaining motivation and focusing on achieving sales target.
  • thorough understanding on products being sold to effectively communicate with clients
