Overview:
As the HR People Support Team Leader, you will be instrumental in guiding a team of HR Support Advisors to deliver exceptional first-level support to our global employee base for all HR inquiries and Workday user assistance. You will be a key collaborator with HR partners across the entire employee lifecycle and will work closely with country HR managers to ensure our support services consistently meet and exceed employee expectations. This role requires you to provide contemporary coaching, guidance, and advice to your team, fostering a values-driven culture. You will evolve into the Subject Matter Expert on core HR processes and Workday support for our employees.
The core intent of the HR Operations Team is to optimise our HR offerings and service delivery throughout the employee lifecycle. We achieve this by providing consistent, effective support, empowering our managers and employees to thrive, underpinned by the capabilities of Workday.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and develop the People Support Services team to deliver core HR processes and activities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • HR Support & Service Delivery: Manage the team's delivery of first-level support for HR inquiries and Workday user assistance via the HR ticketing system (ServiceNow), ensuring service levels are met.
  • Process Management & Compliance: Ensure team adherence to all HR processes, maintaining accuracy, compliance with statutory and legal requirements, and managing filing/storage systems.
  • Systems & Data Management: Maintain HR systems and processes to ensure timely and accurate capture of people data, and manage/maintain HR Intranet sites, SharePoint, and other self-service portals.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Create and maintain a suite of Support Services reports for Board and executive leadership, and generate ad-hoc reports and data as required by HR or customer groups.
  • HRIS Management & Collaboration: Engage with the Workday System team to ensure the HRIS system is maintained and supported globally, and serve as a liaison between HR, IT, payroll vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS improvements and projects.
  • Process Improvement & Project Support: Identify and analyze gaps in current processes and system data, create solutions, ensure changes are documented and communicated, and provide HR project support as needed.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven team leadership experience, including coaching and developing team members.
  • At least 2 years of demonstrable experience working with HR Service Now (HR ticketing system), including managing and resolving employee inquiries.
  • Sound experience in a service delivery role with a strong focus on driving exceptional customer service and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Solid understanding of fundamental HR principles, practices, and relevant employment legislation.
  • Demonstrated service excellence skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to employee support.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems; experience with Workday is highly valued.
