Position Overview: To provide high-level strategic, operational, and administrative support to the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) in executing corporate initiatives, overseeing key projects, and managing communications across internal and external stakeholders. The role acts as the GCEO’s right hand in ensuring efficient flow of information, decision-making, and follow-through on priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the GCEO in strategic planning, monitoring, and execution of key business initiatives.
- Act as the liaison between the GCEO’s office and senior leadership teams across the group of companies.
- Prepare executive summaries, briefing notes, business proposals, and talking points.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure alignment with group strategies.
- Manage the flow of information to and from the GCEO’s office.
- Draft internal memos, external correspondences, speeches, and official statements.
- Attend meetings (internal and external) on behalf of the GCEO when required, and provide debriefs or action reports.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with government agencies, stakeholders, and business partners.
- Oversee the GCEO’s schedule, including meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and event planning.
- Ensure timely follow-up and closure of action items discussed during meetings.
- Monitor deadlines and priorities on behalf of the GCEO.
- Conduct research and provide insight or recommendations on industry trends, competitors, and business opportunities.
- Prepare high-impact presentations for Board, and stakeholder meetings.
- Able to resolve issues or confliction that may arise in correspondence or project implementation.
- Monitor, track, and manage the flow of incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely responses and follow-up.
•Compile and present program reports to Group CEO in a concise and organised manner.
- Support the development and implementation of team working initiative and performance improvement.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the organisation by facilitating communication among team members and departments
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy, or related fields.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in an executive support role.
- Preferably within the construction or related industry.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and presentation tools.
- Flexible, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
