  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

JOB SUMMARY

The successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of undergraduate units within the Early Childhood Education program in the School of Design and Arts. This position involves active participation in curriculum development, research initiatives, and community engagement projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in early childhood pedagogy, curriculum design, and educational theory. Expertise in special education, literacy development, or educational technology will be considered a valuable asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and update curriculum content and instructional materials across multiple academic levels and programs.
  • Coordinate and deliver lectures, tutorials, or laboratory sessions; assess student learning outcomes to uphold excellence in teaching quality.
  • Provide academic advising, mentorship, and support to students throughout their learning journey.
  • Contribute to the expansion of the Faculty’s learning and teaching portfolio through innovative practices.
  • Support the growth of research groups and collaborative research partnerships within and beyond the Faculty.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching, mentoring, and training capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain a program of research and scholarly activities aligned with the Faculty’s focus.
  • Supervise honours, postgraduate, and doctoral students, contributing to their academic and research training.
  • Uphold high academic and professional standards in teaching, research, and service.
  • Contribute to the administration and continuous improvement of the Faculty’s academic offerings.
  • Foster professional engagement with industry and community partners in relevant fields.
  • Provide academic leadership within the Faculty and participate in relevant community or professional initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A PhD in Early Childhood Education or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in teaching and research within a higher education setting, specifically in early childhood education.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising practicum placements and supporting early childhood teacher candidates in field-based learning.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of child development, early years curriculum frameworks, and assessment practices.
  • A record of scholarly publications in early childhood education or related areas.
  • Additional expertise in inclusive education, educational leadership, digital learning technologies, play-based pedagogy, or early childhood education policy is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
