Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of food products and raw materials.
- Record and track inventory levels.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery according to customer and internal requirements.
- Ensure proper storage of food products based on temperature and hygiene guidelines (e.g., cold storage, dry goods).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse in compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Assist with regular stock counts, cycle counts, and audits.
- Label and date food items accurately to ensure traceability and expiration management.
- Report any damages, discrepancies, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively (if certified).
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, especially those related to food handling.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role, preferably in the food industry.
- Familiarity with warehouse software and inventory control systems.
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations (e.g., FIFO, HACCP, GMP).
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
