1. Financial management Reporting:- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, and internal controls.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards, or local accounting regulations.
- Develop and monitor financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded properly.
- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting:- Lead the annual budgeting process, working with department heads to align financial plans with company goals.
- Prepare accurate financial forecasts to guide decision-making and resource allocation.
- Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
3. Cash Flow & Risk Management:- Manage company cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Oversee financial risk management, including credit, currency, and operational risks.
- Implement strategies to optimize working capital and enhance financial efficiency.
4. Taxation & Compliance:- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including corporate tax, VAT/GST, and withholding tax.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial laws and best practices to ensure compliance and minimize financial risk.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is required.Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior financial management role.Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting frameworks.Excellent leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.Proficiency in financial management software (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.High level of integrity, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
