Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role involves overseeing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Lead and manage the safety team, providing guidance and support.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate safety into all operations.
- Prepare and present safety reports to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging safety trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a safety management role.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Proven experience in road safety management and knowledge of traffic safety regulations and principles.
- Familiarity with road safety audits, risk assessments, and accident investigation.
