  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

About the Company

Our client is a well-established and growing company with regional operations across Southeast Asia. As part of their business expansion, they are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Tax Manager to lead and manage all tax-related matters across their entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all tax matters for the regional entities, including direct and indirect tax compliance (e.g., corporate tax, GST/SST, withholding tax).
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns and payments.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and external consultants on audits, queries, and regulatory updates.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess implications to the business.
  • Provide tax advisory support for cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and corporate restructuring.
  • Work closely with finance and legal teams to ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.
  • Prepare and review tax provisioning for financial reporting purposes.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities to optimize tax efficiency across the region.
  • Support in implementing and maintaining internal controls related to tax matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or equivalent.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CTIM is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3–4 years of relevant tax experience, preferably with regional exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations; experience with regional or international tax is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively across departments and countries.
