Nutritionist Job Scope1. Client Assessment
- Evaluate clients’ dietary habits, health conditions, lifestyle, and nutritional needs.
- Conduct interviews, take medical histories, and analyze lab results if applicable.
2. Nutrition Planning
- Develop personalized meal and nutrition plans based on the client’s goals (e.g., weight loss, managing diabetes, muscle gain, etc.).
- Adapt plans for specific needs such as allergies, intolerances, or chronic diseases.
3. Education & Counseling
- Educate individuals or groups about healthy eating habits and nutrition guidelines.
- Offer motivation and support to help clients stick to dietary changes.
4. Monitoring & Evaluation
- Track clients’ progress through follow-ups and adjust nutrition plans as needed.
- Document changes in health or behavior over time.
5. Collaboration
- Work with other healthcare professionals such as doctors, dietitians, physiotherapists, or fitness coaches.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams for holistic client care.
6. Research & Development
- Stay updated with the latest nutrition science and dietary guidelines.
- Possibly engage in nutrition research or program development.
7. Administrative Duties
- Maintain client records.
- Possibly handle billing, scheduling, and reporting if in private practice.
8. Public Health & Community Outreach (if applicable)
- Plan and deliver community health programs.
- Promote nutritional awareness and education in schools, workplaces, or through media.
9. Specialized Roles
- Holistic nutritionist – incorporate natural and alternative approaches.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
