Key Responsibilities:

With this role, the incumbent will be responsible to support all sales activities to export customers in the Food Ingredients division.

  • Supports the Head of Supply Chain/Assistant Customer Service Manager as the interface within the sales office in all customer related matters.
  • Oversees and manages the order fulfilment process, from customer orders being placed to the products being delivered to the customer.
  • Proactively coordinate with relevant internal teams from Sales, Shipping, Logistics & Warehouse, Procurement and Production to resolve discrepancies or issues with orders.
  • Ensure excellent customer service throughout the fulfillment process.
  • Attend to customer inquiries and provide customer leads to the Sales team.
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with customers.
  • Collaborate with relevant internal teams to enhance operational workflows.
  • Maintain accurate records of order status, inventory levels, and shipping details.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers and Channel Partners relating to all aspects of order processing, shipping and commercial information.
  • Attend to customer related matters to ensure customer satisfaction and work closely with operations and related departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Obtain order forecasts from customers and Channel Partners for production planning purposes.
  • Supports the Market Manager/Business Director in the sales process, pricing and the implementation of product development strategy in line with business plans.
  • Provides administrative support for marketing and marketing communications activity for the territory.
  • Responsible on day-to-day administration and coordination activities of the sales and marketing division.

The incumbent must take a proactive role to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales and after-sales process.

Job Requirements:

  • Applicants must have a Degree in related fields.
  • At least 5-8 year(s) of working experience in customer service related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants who are expose to the manufacturing working environment is an added advantage..
  • Preferably with some basic shipping knowledge in terms of incoterm.
  • Familiar with SAP system is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in order management systems.
  • Pleasant personality with customer service at heart and mind.
  • Good in both written & verbal in English.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, result oriented and hardworking.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexible and willing to work beyond normal working hours.
  • Able to work independently with less supervision and work as a team.
  • Applicants must be proactive, hardworking and able to work under deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
