  • Job Summary:

The Production Executive is responsible for overseeing daily operations of injection moulding machines used in the manufacturing of car carpets. This role involves planning production schedules, ensuring product quality, supervising operators, maintaining machinery efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate daily injection moulding production activities to meet output targets.
  • Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot basic issues, and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Supervise and guide machine operators and technicians on proper handling and setup.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP), safety, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections on product quality and ensure non-conforming items are properly managed.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Record and report daily production output, material usage, and operational issues.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensure availability of raw materials, tools, and moulds for continuous production.
  • Train new operators and promote a culture of safety and accountability on the production floor.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in production, preferably in injection moulding or automotive components.
  • Knowledge of injection moulding process, machine setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with 5S, Kaizen, or other lean manufacturing principles is an added advantage.
  • Able to work in shifts and under pressure to meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
