Position : Manager, Reporting Unit
Reporting to : Head of Finance
No of direct subordinates : 4
Job Purpose: To oversee the preparation, analysis, and submission of timely and accurate financial reports and budgeting documentation. This role is critical in supporting management decision-making, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health and governance of the organization.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
1) Financial Reporting & Budgeting
§ Lead the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including but not limited to: Flash Report, MBM Report, Japan Report, Fixed Assets Report, and Related Party Transaction Report.
§ Coordinate and manage the annual external audit process by ensuring the availability and accuracy of required documentation, schedules, and listings.
§ Prepare draft annual financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries for superior’s review and finalization.
§ Oversee the preparation of the Group’s Annual Budget and Revised Budget by gathering inputs from various departments and translating them into comprehensive financial forecasts and projections.
§ Analyze and review profitability reports from branches and business units, providing additional financial insights and ad-hoc reports to support strategic decisions by management.
§ Involve in the preparation of materials and financial content for Board meetings, including presentation slides, financial highlights, budget performance summaries, and other relevant reporting to support high-level decision-making
2. General Ledger & Period-End Closing (Accounting & Financial Systems)
§ Review internal charge computations (e.g., internal rental, depreciation, and management fees) in accordance with established policies and procedures during the month-end closing process.
§ Ensure all capital expenditures are properly reviewed, approved, and recorded in compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
§ Maintain and update the fixed asset registers for the company and its subsidiaries (including MFRS 16), ensuring timely capitalization, disposal, and tagging of assets.
§ Review and validate expense allocations between branches and business units, ensuring adherence to the company’s allocation principles and cost control mechanisms.
§ Collaborate with IT team to ensure accurate data flow and integration between accounting systems, supporting continuous improvements and automation initiatives where possible.

Pay: RM5,340.70 - RM7,500.00 per month
