About the role

As a Safety Promoter at TSM Maintenance and Construction Services Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our employees on oil & gas industry across Kemaman, Terengganu. This full-time position is integral to upholding our rigorous safety standards and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting regular site inspections and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Delivering comprehensive safety training and toolbox talks to educate workers on best practices
  • Investigating incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation to ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
  • Collaborating with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution
  • Promoting safety awareness and fostering a proactive approach to occupational health and safety among all employees

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar safety-focused role within the oil & gas industry
  • Strong understanding of construction site safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively deliver safety training and promote a safety-first culture
  • Ability to think critically, identify risks, and implement practical solutions to mitigate them
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills to maintain detailed records and data
  • Passion for occupational health and safety and a genuine commitment to safeguarding employees
