The position focuses on conducting statutory Second Schedule Inspections, maintaining JKKP and OSHA standards, and promoting a safe working environment. Additionally, the role supports continuous improvement through training, technical guidance, and driving small repair service growth—all contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction and safety compliance.

What will you be doing?

  • Plan, perform, and sign off on Second Schedule Inspections in accordance with JKKP regulations.

  • Ensure the safety and health of all employees and personnel involved in the installation, testing, inspection, repair, modernization, and maintenance of lifts, escalators, and dumbwaiters.

  • Notify, investigate, and submit reports to JKKP on any workplace accidents or incidents as required under OSHA.

  • Follow up on the rectification of defects identified during Second Schedule Inspections.

  • Provide recommendations and advice to SEB’s daily and night standby operations regarding JKKP-related matters.

  • Ensure all lifts are maintained in compliance with JKKP standards and requirements.

  • Promote a safe working environment that supports high customer satisfaction.

  • Drive the development, implementation, and achievement of the annual budget for small repair service sales.

  • Conduct safety and regulatory training for SEB technicians.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by superiors from time to time, including those without written instructions.

Are you the one?

  • Certified to perform Second Schedule Inspections under JKKP regulations.

  • Good knowledge of OSHA, JKKP, and lift/escalator safety standards.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in lift, escalator, or dumbwaiter maintenance and inspection.

  • Able to investigate and report workplace incidents as per regulatory requirements.

  • Strong understanding of safety practices and regulatory compliance.

  • Capable of providing technical advice and recommendations to operations teams.

  • Experience conducting safety and regulatory training for technicians.

  • Customer-focused with a commitment to service quality and safe environments.

  • Willing to support standby operations and perform tasks assigned by superiors.
