Key Responsibilities: Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate books of accounts (AP/AR, ledgers, journals). Process invoices, receipts, payments, and expense reports. Bookkeeping & Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. Ensure all transactions align with company policies. Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets). Assist in budgeting and forecasting. Tax & Compliance: Handle GST/VAT filings, TDS deductions, and tax returns. Ensure adherence to accounting standards. Audit Support: Coordinate with auditors for internal/external audits. Provide documentation and resolve discrepancies. Payroll & Vendor Management: Process payroll and manage vendor payments. Negotiate with suppliers/clients on payment terms. Software & Tools: Use accounting software Autocount. Proficient in Excel (PivotTables). Skills & Competencies: Strong numerical and analytical skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Time management (meeting deadlines). Communication skills (for vendor/client interactions). Basic knowledge of taxation and financial regulations. Qualifications: Minimum of Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2+ years of experience is an advantage Professional certification if any is a plus. Nice-to-Have: Experience in industry-specific accounting in Manufacturing Knowledge of AutoCount systems.
