Production Supervisor (Assembly Shop)

1. To control and supervise line manpower through enforcement of work discipline and company policies for optimization of man capability in order to meet production schedule 2. To execute GK activities in production line in order to achieve consistent product quality and delivery. 3. Initiate and monitor 5S activity and enforce safe work procedure in production line as to promote the safe and good working environment for the manpower. 4. To control and ensure the tools, equipment and materials are in good condition and meet specification for production used. 5. To educate and conduct training to equip manpower with necessary skill by following APW and principle standard in order to meet principal quality standard. 6. Responsible for overall line monitoring (applicable to Senior Supervisor’s role). 7. Control and monitor part rejection and initiate cost reduction activity for direct and indirect material used in production line. Qualifications: Minimum requirement is Diploma holder in Automotive Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing or any relevant course. Fresh graduate from any institutional or at least with 1 year working experiences in coaching / leading people. Soft skills or personal attributes & personality traits needed Good communication skills, problem solving skills, critical thinking, self-independent. Interpersonal skills or capability are needed to communicate effectively and to co-operate with others Leadership skills, ability to manage people and self-control of emotions. Knowledgeable in related field Understand basic operation of automotive / assemblies processes basic computer skill
