Sustainability and Innovation: Incorporate sustainable practices and innovative solutions (e.g., green building techniques, stormwater management) to enhance project outcomes. Qualifications Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution. A Diploma in Civil Engineering with significant experience may be considered. Experience: At least 3-7 years of relevant experience in civil engineering projects in Malaysia, preferably in infrastructure or construction. Experience with government projects (e.g., JKR, PWD) is an advantage. Certifications: Registration as a Professional Engineer (Ir.) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or Graduate Engineer status is preferred. Certifications in CIDB Green Card or related fields are a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro). Strong knowledge of Malaysian standards and codes (e.g., JKR Standards, MSMA, Eurocode). Familiarity with civil engineering disciplines such as structural, geotechnical, or hydraulic engineering. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
