Civil Supervisor

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all civil and structural works on site to ensure timely completion and quality in line with project specifications and drawings. Monitor daily work progress and ensure work is executed according to JKR, MS (Malaysian Standard), and CIDB guidelines. Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards based on Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and DOSH requirements. Attend site meetings and coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives. Manage and control materials, tools, and site equipment to ensure optimum usage and prevent wastage. Inspect and verify site work to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Record site activities in daily progress reports (DPR) and assist in resolving any on-site issues or non-conformities. Coordinate inspection with relevant authorities and consultants when required. Provide clear instruction to workers and subcontractors regarding work method, safety procedures, and schedule targets. Report to superior on site issues, manpower, material usage, and work progress. Requirements: Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects. Experience in supervising structural, earthworks, drainage, roadworks, and other general civil works. Familiar with local authority requirements, including CIDB, JKR, DOSH, and Majlis Perbandaran guidelines. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Competent in using tools such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (basic viewing), and project scheduling tools (preferred). Willing to be stationed at the project site and work extended hours when necessary. Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and basic English (spoken and written).
