Job description The Costume Crew is backstage to assist actors in top of show dressing, costume changes and laundry. He / she is expected to work with the Stage Manager to schedule laundry of costumes between dresses and performances. The Costume Crew also help the Performers get into costume for technical rehearsals and performances, and keep track of and maintain costumes when they are not being worn. Job Desription Arrangement and distribution of Performer’s clothes according to the character set. Before the show start, need to check of all costume sets are in are ready for the show. Responsible for helping to keep make-up area clean and sanitary. Notifies Stage Manager of the need to restock any supplies used during the run of the show. Responsible for assisting Performer’s with the wearing of the cast members with Hair/Make-up application during the run of the show. Wash and dry laundry costume as per instructions. Put clean laundry in garment bag or locker. Check racks to be sure all costume pieces are present. Check pre-set articles on stage. Help with Hair/Make-up to the best of their abilities. During show duties help Performers with costume or hair/make-up changes. Hang costume changes where needed. Maintain backstage costume organization and cleanliness after show duties. Check stage to see everything is in its proper place. Check dressing rooms to be sure everything is picked up and put away and it is tidy. Perform other duties as assigned and when necessary. Requirements Minimum SPM or equivalent Working experience is not necessary Ability to work independently Ability to multitask Courteous, mentally & physically fit to work Reliability, punctuality, matured and responsible individual Ability to comprehend and follow instructions. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
