Key Responsibilities: Coordinate all piping-related activities including design, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning. Ensure all works comply with applicable international standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, API, ANSI) and local codes (MS, DOSH, CIDB, etc.). Review and verify piping isometric drawings, general arrangements (GA), and P&IDs. Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and support procurement of piping materials and fittings. Provide technical input during design review, construction, and pre-commissioning phases. Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. Monitor and control work progress to ensure timely completion in line with project schedule. Support QA/QC in welding inspections, pressure testing, and mechanical completion. Identify and resolve piping issues at site, including clashes and field modifications. Ensure proper documentation and handover according to project and regulatory requirements. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or equivalent. Minimum 6–10 years of relevant experience in piping systems, ideally in oil & gas, refinery, or power plant projects. Strong knowledge of piping material grades, welding techniques, valves, gaskets, supports, and installation methods. Familiar with Malaysian regulatory requirements, including DOSH, CIDB, and local authority guidelines. Skilled in interpreting and reviewing P&IDs, isometrics, GA drawings, and equipment layouts. Proficient in software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, PDMS/E3D, or similar. Good communication and coordination skills with a proactive and solution-driven mindset. Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written). Willing to be stationed at project sites, including remote and offshore locations if necessary.
