Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance & Control
- Perform inspections on piping, mechanical, structural, and other engineering works as per ITP, standards, and project specs.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, client, and internal quality systems.
- Identify, document, and follow up on non-conformities.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, inspection checklists, and NCRs.
- Compile and submit QA/QC documentation for client approvals.
- Track and verify materials and workmanship through proper records.
- Project Coordination
- Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and clients for inspections.
- Ensure timely execution of quality control activities to meet project timelines.
- Participate in kick-off meetings, audits, and quality briefings.
- Standard & Specification Compliance
- Interpret engineering drawings and ensure work is performed accordingly.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and installation of materials.
- Monitor welding, fabrication, painting, and erection activities.
- Continuous Improvement
- Support QA/QC team in improving procedures and systems.
- Contribute to preventive actions and lessons learned documentation.
- Ad-Hoc Tasks
- Assist with additional tasks assigned by superior or project manager.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 1–3 years experience in QA/QC, preferably in EPC or construction-related works.
- Knowledge of standards (ISO, ASME, API, etc.) and QA/QC processes.
- Able to read technical drawings (piping, structural, etc.).
- Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Willing to work at site or travel when required.
