Job Description Summary
As a Staff Reliability Engineer, you will be involved in both the design and programming of software components or modules. This role requires a combination of technical skills, such as software design and programming, and soft skills, such as collaboration and communication.In this capacity you will steer design discussions to some extent, are expected to work independently and contribute to the immediate team while also collaborating with other teams within the business.
Although limited to specific context or projects, you will draw on your communication skill to steer design discussions that demonstrates a certain level of expertise and leadership capability.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the successful implementation of our GE Vernova Asset Performance Management (APM) Strategy and Reliability related products in particular, but also for the whole suite as well in general, in the customer sites
- Provision of consulting in the areas of Asset Strategy, Defect Elimination, and Predictive Asset Health.
- Ability to translate technical/functional concepts into processes and configurations.
- Work hands on with customer reliability, to train, facilitate and manage reliability workshops and training sessions.
- Ability to evaluate client data sources, existing systems and identification of process improvements that can be delivered via an integrated approach.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including internal, third party and partners.
- Support client presentations and sales calls.
- Delivery of functional software user training as well and engineering methodology awareness training.
- Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you would possess and/or demonstrate the following (but not limited to)
- A Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or other Engineering from a local or internationally recognised university or educational institution.
- At least 9 years of field experience in maintenance / operations of Power Plants, Power Generation or other Energy verticals
- Asset Management related certification (SMRP, ASQ) and reasonable understanding of some relevant application Standards (ISO 55000/1/2, ISO 14224, ISO 31000), are highly desirable.
- Those with 5 years of field experience in Asset Management would be considered.
- Knowledge about the GE Vernova APM platform would be a plus.
- Experience with other reliability methodologies and modeling.
- Customer facing multiple project management experience is a must.
- Experience with CMMS Systems like Maximo, SAP-PM or equivalent.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- ability o travel up to 75%
